Interspecies Communication, Sympathy, Empathy

"In a stunning display of interspecies connectedness, a herd of wild elephants was recently seen mourning the death of their friend and savior, Lawrence Anthony. Anthony passed away on March 2, 2012......Elephant Whisperer....." - https://www.onegreenplanet.org/news/wild-elephants-mourn-death-of-elephant-whisperer/

Remote Viewing....Let Your Mind Do the Walking...

Found this site, thought you all might be interested....http://www.irva.org/index.html

"IRVA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the responsible use and development of remote viewing. We are an independently formed member organization of scientists, remote viewing professionals, students, and other interested persons. For more information, read the Letter of Invitation from Russell Targ, President Emeritus of IRVA.

Remote viewing is a novel perceptual discipline for gaining information not available to the ordinary physical senses. Used extensively by so-called "psychic spies" during the Cold War for classified military projects, it has a long history both as an intelligence gathering tool and as the subject of research and applications in the civilian world. Remote viewing has now taken a long step into the public domain with the formation of a professional association to educate, research, propose standards, test performance, and promote public awareness of this unique human mental capacity."

Tom Sez - I'm particularly interested in how hypnosis might enhance remote viewing....hmmmm?

Make Your Own Mind Machine- Little Known Information About Mind Computer Interfacing

"Many people are working on Brain Computer Interfacing (BCI) these days. Few people, however, are working on Mind Machines.....http://voices.yahoo.com/make-own-mind-machine-11337514.html?cat=15

I wrote this article to stimulate amateur innovation and experimentation in using science to record intuition.

"BRAIN SCANS REVEAL WHAT DOGS ARE THINKING" - Inter-species Communication

"BRAIN SCANS REVEAL WHAT DOGS ARE THINKING"..."Emory University’s Center for Neuropolicy in Atlanta has developed a new way of scanning the brains of alert dogs with the aim of getting a more accurate understanding of how they think. According to the center’s director and lead researcher Gregory Berns:

As far as we know, no one has been able to do this previously. We hope this opens up a whole new door for understanding canine cognition and inter-species communication. We want to understand the dog-human relationship, from the dog’s perspective.

The dog involved in the experiment was trained to walk up to the MRI machine and hold his head still while her brain was scanned. The research is further deepened by analyzing how the dog’s brain patterns change in response to hand signals and vocal cues. This will flesh out insights into canine cognition, social cognition of other species, interspecies communication, and provide a deeper understanding of the human-canine relationship.

Watch the video below for more detail on this experiment...." - http://www.psfk.com/2012/05/brain-scan-dogs.html

Tom sez - Could this technology be used to find out how dogs can sense someone's sickness?  Dogs can smell cancer before doctors can detect it.  Why can't we figure this out?  Maybe this new tool will help.

"Animals' Sixth Sense Saves Lives"....Future Medical Diagnostic Tool?

"Canada's Heroic Pets Honoured: Animals' Sixth Sense Saves Lives"...." Animals are gifted with an extraordinary sense of sight, smell, sound and touch. They also seem to have a sixth sense, or intuition, that allows them to pick up on illness and medical emergencies earlier than humans are capable of detecting. While researchers are at odds about this sixth sense, many argue that the stronger the bond between pet and owner, the more apt they are to notice changes in their smell, mannerisms and appearance".... http://www.sacbee.com/2012/05/07/4471853/canadas-heroic-pets-honoured-animals.html

Tom Sez - Animals can sense, maybe we can too, but we've lost the ability or suppress it.

Maybe good research project for university?....glean the science out of this?....equip dogs/pets with sensors to map out the responses when they "intuitively" know a person is sick?  Galvanic Skin Response Sensors?  Eye movement?  Sniff sensors?   etc.....
